2. You must submit an audtion tape, per the guidelines below:
The first rule in making a videotape audition for National Bingo Night is to have fun.
Making a videotape audition for the program is very easy. Using a video camera, make us a 5-minute tape that explains why you would be an excellent candidate for our show . Be creative, show us your personality - tell us who you are and what makes you unique. Start with your name and hometown. There is no "right" or "wrong" thing to say on your tape, we just want to get to know you in the every day way your friends and family do.
Bad Ideas for your hometape: Taking us on a tour of your home, featuring your friends in the video instead of you (Longtime spouses are OK), or sitting on the couch. We really want to get to know YOU.
Video Production 101...
* Start with your name, age, and hometown. Include a full body shot.
* Make sure we can see and hear you clearly;
* Turn off the television, radio or anything else that might add extra noise;
* Do not sit in front of a window. (The back lighting will make you appear as though you're in the witness protection program – bad.)
* Label the tape with your name, age, address and phone number;
* We can only accept VHS tapes. (The ones that fit in your VCR). If you have a hi-8, digital-8 or DV tape, we prefer if you transfer these formats to VHS. Transferring your camcorder tape to VHS can be accomplished easily. Use the Red, White, and Yellow cables that come with your camera to connect it to your VCR. Push play on your camera, and Record on your VCR. Please run a test and make sure your transfer worked properly.
* Be Kind, Rewind. Rewinding your tape to the beginning greatly increases our fondness for you.
Filling out the application…
* We will only accept completed and signed application if they are accompanied by your videotape. Please take your time and answer the questions honestly. You can download the application www.bryanstinsoncasting.com
* Please enclose a recent photo with the application. Make sure your photo(s) are clearly labeled with your name and phone number on the back.
**DO NOT ATTEMPT OR PERFORM ANY STUNTS
