BET Producer Says She Was Fired After Complaining about Sexual Harassment

From the New York Daily News

A former producer for Black Entertainment Television says the network canned her when she complained about working with a pervy cameraman during an interview with rapper Nicki Minaj.

Tameika Dorman says BET camera operator Derek Clarke repeatedly showed her footage he shot of her backside while she walked up stairs in a mini-skirt in Feb. 2009, according to a suit filed in Bronx Supreme Court.

When Dorman asked  why he was replaying the video, he "grabbed and repeatedly rubbed his crotch, began to moan, and said it was because he loved her butt, that she was sexy and that she did not know what he was going to do to her," the suit claims.

A sobbing Dorman ran out of the video room and reported Clarke to BET brass, who assured her they would keep the horndog lensman away from her.

But management made them work together again in Nov. 2010 during an interview with Minaj, the suit claims.

Dorman, was was pregnant at the time, complained to her boss and was fired a short time later, the suit claims.
